hailing from inglewood, california, tiffany aliyah is a renaissance woman with a passion for inspiring people and communities through the arts. beginning her movement career as a pint-sized cheerleader for an inner-city pop warner team, she then channeled her sass and spunk into dance as a scholarship student at lula washington dance theatre at the age of twelve. starting her formal training in her middle school years alongside babies in tutus, tiffany quickly worked her way up to the front lines of the youth performance ensemble. she was soon selected for precision dance company, where she was an award-winning high school soloist and featured dancer in their annual showcase. in her transition to college, she showed both her emotional depth and fierce attitude in california state university, northridge’s dance program, performing as a soloist in the annual dialogues of dance showcase, and faculty choreographed colabortoria showcase, and was also a member of the official hip-hop team on campus. she has trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, african, military-drill, cheer/pom, lyrical, tap, and other forms, and also performs as a spoken word poet.

along with her love for performance, tiffany aliyah is an avid dance instructor, choreographer, make-up artist, and fitness educator. a graduate of california state university of northridge with her b.s. in kinesiology & dance, she was a featured choreographer in the annual spring dance show “kinesis” for three consecutive years. tiffany aliyah is certified in group exercise instruction and currently teaches on a freelance basis at various studios and events.

since being signed to movement talent agency in 2016, she has been featured in music videos for artists such as jonn hart, jeremih, lud mila, chloe & halle, todrick hall; performed on various television productions such as jimmy kimmel, disney, idiotsitter, & taraji p henson's 'white hot holiday'; and done fashion campaigns with adidas and kenzo paris. in 2019, she was chosen alongside five other individuals by international choreographer and creative director brian friedman to dance alongside atlantic records star melanie martinez for her k-12 international tour. though the 2020 pandemic put an abrupt halt to that journey, tiffany aliyah still cherishes that experience and hopes for further opportunities to travel and dance again in the future.

along with working on her new writing project, love for poetry, and company startup, tiffany aliyah hopes to continue on her path as a professional dancer, poet, creative entrepreneur, and inspiration to other young women; to find healing in creating art, find strength in their movements, and always, always follow their dreams.
